Plasma Launches SYNBOARD® by Builders FirstSource
Builders FirstSource’s long-standing relationship with Plasma has yet again provided another project opportunity in web design and development. Builders FirstSource (BFS) was in need of a new website that focused primarily on SYNBOARD®, a product that has been an industry leader in providing an alternative to conventional trim lumber for over two decades. The site would replace the existing SYNBOARD® site. It would not only need to showcase all relative products and distributors, but also be very aesthetically pleasing and clean.
Plasma’s design and developer team worked together in collaboration with the BFS marketing team to plan out, develop and implement all aspects of the site to ensure all professional opinions and ideas were in line with the client’s concepts and expectations. SYNBOARD® is heavily image-based, with large banner images and galleries, while navigation and information is simple, clean and user-friendly.
The website is also responsive and is optimized for any sized screen. Users can visit from their desktop, laptop, tablet and/or mobile as the screen automatically resizes to fit any sized technology used. Plasma also developed and implemented a user friendly backend and Content Management System (CMS) to enable BFS employees of any technological background to manage on-site content with zero coding. Plasma has now met all client needs and is excited to announce that the website has been officially launched at http://www.synboard.com/.
